16 year old in need of a job, please help me!?
I am a 16 year old high school student, desperately in need of a part time job for money.
I have some experience with working with cash boxes, i babysat before, I even volunteered at a hospital for more than a year. my family is not wealthy, and my parents work from morning till night.
I still can’t drive yet, and even if i could i don’t have a car to use freely unless i have my parent’s trust. I used to baby sit once every week, so i happened to save up a huge amount of money, but after the parent quit her job, she didn’t need me anymore. then all the money i’ve saved ended up disappearing for my broken laptop, school supplies, friends’ birthdays and things that i needed money for. I do not shop well, so i am not a careless money spender. ..
right now, all i have in my wallet is coins, and if i need money i now have to break into my piggy bank for spare money which that piggy bank is actually the savings for my university…
I need a job.. my parents cannot approve me of getting a part time job working at a fast food restaurant such as mcdonalds or tim hortons.. I’ve applied for Canadian Tire, but i haven’t heard from them since last september… I’ve applied for AMC Theatres, and i also haven’t heard from them for a while as well. I don’t know where else places hire my age, and i need to make sure the work place isn’t so far, or else it takes away my parents’ work time, and their rest time…
please help.. I don’t know how else i’m going to find the answer to this problem..
my life isn’t the best, but i’m trying as hard as possible to make it better everyday.

I use this site to make a little extra money online. There are endless ways to make money on this site including signing up for free offers, completing surveys and clicks, playing games against other members, competing in weekly lotteries, and much more.
Signup is free, and unlike other sites that make you work to a minimum amount before they’ll pay you, this site will pay you daily. You can get paid through Paypal, check, or you can use your earnings to order off of Amazon (anything you want) because this site is linked up to Amazon.com.
well…what you gotta start out with is transportation. i use a bike, you could run, walk…whatever. just make sure it is reliable, and you can deal with it.
now where is a place everyone goes that you can put stuff?
for me, the post office, or supermarket. ask the store-owner, or whoever if you can put a sign up advertising you do _______
i would start with whatever, like "I will do whatever you need done around the house that you dont have time to do."
also, if you apply somewhere, just keep calling and bugging them for the job. it may sound like a bad idea, but it shows you actually want the job.
if you have a bike bike around town, and apply to EVERY place you could work. just fill out applications. write down where you applied, and call them every few days.
no bike? junk yard or the dump could have one…if not, well…run or walk.
still no luck? prostitution? ;D
jk, but do what i do. get a bank account, and NEVER do ANYTHING except put money into it.
so say you have 85 cents in change. deposit that at first. as the week goes on (pick up change on the sidewalk, i make like 10$ a month like that i wanna say..) you will gradually find money, get money, earn it..either way, money will come. put that on your night-stand or something similar that you wont spend it. also, NEVER spend money unless you know it will either A. make you money, or B. you will really enjoy it for a long time to come.
so right now on my night stand, i have probably $50+, all of which i have gathered over the past month doing random stuff neighbors want, selling old stuff on craigslist, or just chores.
now obviously you dont just want a bank account that just keeps getting useless money you arent ‘allowed’ to take out..so make a list of things you want.
after a year, take a look again. cross off the stuff that seems "eh".
after a few years, you will have stuff you "really want".
for me, since i’m around 16, i want a truck (no need for specifics), and a nice bike.
those are the only 2 things i will take more then a few dollars out for right now, since those are both things that i will really enjoy.
but sell ALL your old stuff. look around your room, and think the last time you used something. almost always you should sell more then half the things you have.
who likes clutter anyways?
p.s. just email me, and i could give you more tips.
I am not sure what the law is in your country, but in England you can start a business at 16 without paying any registration fees. The best way is to start your own little business. Ironing, car washing, fliers delivery .Anything really.
By far the best thing is to start an online business as it costs very little to start up and the returns are all pretty much profit. I have included a link of a website that has some advice and tells you how to look out for scammers.
