As you will find as many honest coin shops as you will dishonest coin shops, it is always best to look for a coin shop with a good reputation.

Of course you will be able to find online coin shops as well. These coin shops are supposed to make life easier for the coin collector. While they are handy for you to choose the coins that you want for your collection from the comfortableness of your own home, you will have no way at looking at the coins and beholding if you will want them in your collection.
There are also times when you may fall victim to coin shops which have very little experience in merchandising coins. These types of coin shops are ones that you should keep off as you will be swindled out of our money.

Thanks For visiting The Coin Market. George Marley, the owner of The Coin Market, LLC was born in Yakima and is a graduate of Washington State University. He began collecting coins in the early 1960′s when he was a youngster and has never lost his love for coins. He began running ads in local newspapers buying coins in the early 1970′s and moved to Lynnwood in 1977 and became a partner in his first coin shop venture (JD Coin). After selling the shop in 1981, he spent several years traveling the west coast buying coins at coin shops from Bellingham to Southern California. During this time he attended many of the larger coin shows throughout the country and knows scores of national dealers. He opened his second shop (The Coin Vault) in Yakima in 1985 and sold it in 1989 and went to work for the largest dealer in Spokane (American Coin & Vault). After moving back to Lynnwood in 2002, he worked for 2 1/2 years for prominent northwest wholesale dealer Gene L Henry before opening The Coin Market in early September of 2005.
