Coin Values – 1996 Canadian 2 Dollar + 1934 Bridge Token?
I found these two coins just the other day, wondering if they’re worth anything.
The bridge token simply says ‘BRIDGE TOKEN’, and on the opposite side has ‘Established’ on top, two little symbols (the one on the left looks like a shield) inside of two circles in the middle, and the year ’1934′ under those. It also has ‘Delaware-Pennsylvania-New Jersey’ going along the edge of the coin. This one is in decent condition- Not shiny or anything, but it can probably be easily cleaned.
The other one is 2 parts – a copper-colored inside circle, and an outer circle that’s a silver color. One side has the words ‘Elizabeth II’, a Canadian Leaf, and ‘D.G. Regina’ on the outer circle, and a picture of a woman with a crown (Assuming it’s supposed to be Queen Elizabeth II) on the inner part. The other side has ‘Canada’ along the top of the outer part and ’2 Dollars’ along the bottom. The inside ring of that part has what looks like a bear or something. This coin has green forming along the side with the bear, which is why I can’t see it so well, and some dirt on the outer rim where it says ‘Elizabeth II’.
So, all that in mind, anyone know what these could be worth, if anything?

The first two links might be similar to your first item, and they are called tokens. These items are studied in a branch of numismatics known as exonumia. The value is typically less than $5US, but there are exceptions.
The 1996 Canada 2 Dollar coin retails for $3US if like new. There is a proof version which is worth $10US.
I would not recommend cleaning these items. I hope that helps.
I have multiple canadian coins rangeing for 30 years with 2 different queens on them. Is that like when she go older or somthing. and since i have like 10 coins shoulld i clean 1 of each queen for show???
no, dont clean coins at all cuz it ruins / destroys the value of a coin if you were to sell it. but if you dont plan on getting rid of it and just wanna keep nice as a momento or something then you can do whatever you want i guess. but i dont recomend it
