it’d be $18.72…….u have to round up the third number after the decimal………….unless it’s below 5 then you round down…….$18.71…………..

EDIT : Princess; these are not $, these are £, but you are right for the rounding.
In terms of British pounds: 1gbp=2.13682cad ( 40/18.7194 )
in Canadian dollars: 1cad=.467985gbp (18.7194/40 )
It is given to you =$18.7194
basically you have to look at the 3rd place after decimal,if it is 5 or more,like it is 9 in this case,you change 1(second place) to2
= $18.72 ans
But suppose you have $18.7145=$18.715
=$18.72(here you have two steps instead of one)
If you have =$18.7144=$18.714+$18.71
