Going to Thailand in September. Would appreciate some general information.?

I’m a Canadian 19 year old woman. Going on my honeymoon. I know that it’s the rainy season, the currency is baht, and the majority of Thais are Buddhist.

Would like to know:
- Interesting facts.
- What I should be aware of (ex. scams, ect)
- What are the good beaches and clubs.

How often should I go to the grocery store? and what should be my budget?

I am currently living in Halifax, Nova Scotia (canada).

I have a college budget I suppose.
I get around 0 per month. 0 goes to rent. leaving me with 0 a month.

What are people's thoughts on this new $5 coin?

I hear that Canada is replacing their lovely blue dollar note with a coin, just like they changed the note with a Toonie. Are Canadians happy with this, or are they annoyed? Why do you think they are replacing the note with a coin? Is it because of a weak currency?
