Question about some coins - pls help?
Sorry if this is choppy or something, I’m writing from my iPod… Anyways, a few years hack I had been interested in collecting coins and foreign or old money. I grew out of it tho, but a few mins ago I started goin through the money again. I’ve got a Saudi Arabian dollar, a bunch of canadian coins and money, even some weird coins from Eastern Caribbean States I think it’s called. However, I found two coins that were… Odd. I couldn’t really read them, they were really faded and only a few words showed. But tell me of it rings a bell? They both have leafy floral backs with a crown at the top, and I’m almost positive they’re ten and 25 cents… On the front is a king (I assume since he wears a high crown) and there’s Latin aroun the top, it says "Georgivs v dei gra*here is a pause as the tip of the crown seperated the words* Rex et ind. Emp." is it worth anything and what is it? I can’t rlly make out the date at the bottom of the back, bt it’s 1_18 and I’m not sure he other number. Thx!
Thanks XD if it’s that it’s 1918… Thx again

From your description you have 2 Canadian coins with King George V 1911-1936 on the obverse (front) and on the reverse (back) is a crown at the top with a wreath of leaves and inside the wreath is the denomination, the Canada and under that the date. The king faces to the left and does have a large crown. The coins are made of .925 silver 1910-1919 and .800 silver 1920-1936. They have no collector value if one can not read the dates and are worth the value for the silver minus a dealer % for profit. Hope this helps.
