i’ve looked on other websites too and they all say the same thing, it says its silver

but the thing is from what i’ve been told silver is non-magnetic

How much (if any) is this coin worth?

Its an 1881 5 cent canadian piece with the word "Victoria Dei Gratia Regina" written on the front. Is it of any value?
