Which Canadian credit card is the best to take to Australia?
I’m planning to take a trip to Australia in a few months and I have not yet applied for a credit card because I am not sure which one will make the most of my money. I know that with whatever bank I choose my money will be subject to the currency conversion of my Canadian dollars going to Australian dollars, however I am having a hard time finding what card is the best when it comes to the charges the actual bank will tack onto the money you spend.
I have no credit history, so I know that limits the options for cards that I’m eligible for, but overall which card will offer me the lowest extra charge for use overseas? If you’re a traveller, which card do you use and why?

Don’t even bother applying for the first few.
You need amazing credit for those.
Capital one offers other cards - but one of them is for world travelers
Go to the Capital One website and see if they still offer the card.
You could very well qualify for it.
Make sure to find the one that offers no foreign fees.
