Is this coin worth anything?

I have a Canadian 5 cent coin from 1927. It has King GeorgeIVS DEI GRA. REX ET IND:IMP clearly legible on the back, as well as a portrait. All words and lines are very clearly present.
The coin is in great condition, no stains, dents, cuts etc. Also, I am completely unaware of wether or not it is silver…how can I check without going to a professional?… Continue reading
