What they heck is this coin about?
I have an 89 year old canadian 10 cent piece, On the back, it has a crown, vines, and says 10 cents canada 1919, then on the front, it has this man with a crown, and around him is : Georgivs V Dei Gra : Rex Et Ind:Imp:, what the heck is about this coin I have? And its history?
By the way, theres a big fat chance that its made out of silver

It’s in Latin, but, it would read "George V, King by the grace of God, King and Emperor of India".. At least, that’s about it..
It was a regular issued coin in Canada, and replaced the Edward VII figure before it, which replaced Queen Victoria.. The coins had the figure of the person currently ruling in England..
Well all I know is that it’s 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper
