I just found a Canadian dime?
okay, so i know that when you have an american coin head-side-up and you flip it upside down it will be tails-side-up and its not upside down. its hard to explain, but hopefully you will understand what im trying to say! but anyways! my canadian dime isnt like that! is it supposed to be that way or not?
thanks in advance!

The basic design of the Canadian dime hasn’t changed in many years. There have been a few years where the Canadian Mint has changed the "tails" design, but that’s a special issue year.
But the Mint always reverts to the "Bluenose" schooner.
Yes, they’re supposed to be like that.
They do it that way on purpose.
It’s supposed to be that way. Canadian money is minted with a different positioning pattern for the obverse and reverse than US coins.
