What have you paid before for toys at garage sales?
When I was about 12 years old, I went through all my old toys and gave them to my aunt to have at her house for her grandchildren to play with while they were visiting. She took several out of the boxes for them to play with, and left the rest in our joint storage room. We didn’t think anything of it because the kids play room was under construction. Now two years later and them still sitting there, she finally admitted that she doesn’t think she has the room for them (she later decided to make the room half storage and half their play room).
My cousin called me and told me that she’s having a yard sale in several weeks and I can get rid of them there. I think its great because I am saving up for various things in my future, so I’ll sell what I can and give the rest to charity. The only problem is now I have no idea what everything is worth. I don’t want to over charge for anything, but like I said I’m trying to save for my future so I want to get my money’s worth too. I was always good with my toys, so they are all in good condition. Nothing is all that old, I’d say 2-6 years at the most. Much of it is still sold on the store shelves. The stuff I have is:
-Doll furnature (strollers, play pen etc.)
-Polly Pockets
-Dolls
-Stuffed animals
-blocks
-lego
-barbies and accessories
-kids books and novels
I you have bought/sold any of these items, what was the price? (CANADIAN OR AMERICAN CURRENCY PLEASE, I DON’T MIND ANSWERS FORM THE EUROPEAN UNION IF YOU TRANSLATE THE CURRENCY TO CANADIAN!!)
I’LL ALSO ACCEPT ANSWERS OFF OTHER TOYS YOU HAVE BOUGHT TOO, LIKE I SAID, I HAVEN’T LOOKED AT THIS STUFF IN TWO YEARS SO I’M NOT ENTIRELY SURE OF EVERYTHING I HAVE!!
THANKS SOOO MUCH!
The doll funrature was the Greco minature doll set from Sears, Its an expensive set and I only played with it for several years, so its almost brand new.

For the entire doll Greco set I would say like $15
For all the Polly pockets depending on how much you have $2 for a little collection $5 for a medium collection and $10 for a huge collection.
For the books like 25-50 cents a book or fill a bag for $1 if you have a lot of books
For the stuffed animals depending on their condition like anywhere from 25 cents to $1
For the barbies again depending on you collection
for a small collection $2
For a medium collection $5
For a huge collection $10 and up
For the legos and blocks like all of them for $3
Good Luck
hmm
i would sell all the doll furniture in 1 big set. in like, a box. depending on how much you have, maybe for 4-5$ or if you have tons, then maybe even more. but if you sell things for too much, people will try to bargain.
you can put like 5 or so polly pockets and put them in a plastic bag and sell them for about 1$ per each bag.
i dont know what kind of dolls you have, but if they are like the big plastic baby dolls then you can probably sell them for 2$ each
for the legos, it depends. if you have A LOT of them you could always put a bunch of them in shoe boxes and sell each box for .50
as for the barbies and accessories, you could lay the barbies out and sell them for 2 for 1$ and you can fill little plastic baggies up with accessories and sell each bag for .25
the kids books could go for 25-50 cents each
unless they are nice and hard covered.
then $1- 1.50
