How can i wrap up pennies so they won’t make a noise when you shake them?
I want to give my girlfriend’s dad about forty dollars worth of pennies, because he collects them. But I don’t want him to know that it’s pennies so he’ll be really surprised on Christmas. How can I wrap them up so you won’t hear them when he shakes it or moves it?
I don’t want to wrap them up in those coin rollers, It’ll be funnier this way.

Stick them side-by-side on a piece of tape, then fold the tape over so there is some on both sides of the row of pennies. Done this before. Ha-ha.
Put them in larger or longer boxes. Or ask a bank teller for an EMPTY penny box for easy handling. If not, it may be difficult to think about a way to wrap them so they don’t make noise.

Stack them in rows and wrap them in Saran Press and Seal kitchen wrap…it sticks to itself really well, so those pennies won’t go anywhere…and then you can place them in a larger box and stump the dickens out of him!
If you use tape, as someone suggested, you will have a mess on your hands…when he goes to look at the pennies, plus, there could be a residue from the tape, which collectors hate to deal with anything being on their pennies that they have to clean off…
