   banks, huh. that might be a good alternative for stores, but you can google coin collecting and come up with lots of stores. There are so many, in fact, that none of them come to mind right now, because all those ideas are fighting to register in my mind.

   actually i made that up.
   don’t know how realistic that is, but it’s almost true.

   If you are a knowledgeable collector than ebay has a lot of coins. If you do not grade well or don’t know the series, then their are a lot of pitfalls. Actually I get my deals from my local dealers but do look on line for items that are not that easy to find. Some inexpensive coins, medals or tokens are actually not that easy to come by. You can see a coin dealer and pick up the 2 weekly coin magazines, Coin World and Numismatic News. They have lots of ads for sites that sell coins. Coin World has strict advertising codes so the dealers there are usually all on the up and up. Hope this helps.
